RIVERLEA QUILTERS CIRCLE
If you have completed a Basic Beginners Class, Riverlea Sampler Class or a Rotary Cutting Class at Riverlea during the last 15 years you may be interested in joining our Quilter’s Circle. We meet once a month and for your annual joining fee of $110 you are entitled to 10% discount on fabric purchase on night of meeting. At each meeting there will be a demonstration of a new technique or product. Show and Tell, a Guest Quilter at some meetings and lots of friendship and laughs, plus supper.
Thursday: 7.30pm – 9.30pm
Dates: February 17th
Price: $110 Annual Joining Fee for 11 months

JAPANESE CLUB #1
If you love Japanese textiles, quilts and treasures come and join our club. We meet once a month on a Saturday afternoon and learn new techniques to make some wonderful small quilts or other treasures, or just sit and stitch Sashiko. A different technique will be taught each month.
Meet with other quilters who share the love of all things Japanese – there will be show and tell each month, plenty of inspiration, many stories and some months Japanese food.
Saturday 2.00pm – 4.00pm

August 20th, September 17th, October 22nd, November 19th,

JAPANESE CLUB #2
This class follows on from our 2010 group. We will continue to learn new techniques, make new projects, and explore many more treasures from Lyn’s most recent trip to Japan.
This class is only open to students who completed Japanese Club #1

BLOCK OF THE MONTH
BUCK A BLOCK
Would you like to make a quilt for just $4 ($5 for Japanese) per block. All you need to do is visit the shop once month to pick up your pattern and fabric for $4 ($5 for Japanese). The pattern uses Thangles so the purchase of one packet of Thangles is advised, this enough to make the entire quilt. Once again there will be several fabric themes to choose from.
The blocks will be available for the calendar month except January which will continue to be available through February to give you time to get started.

All prices include gst

A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking, and is not refundable. Balance to be paid on or before the first day of class. If you give at least seven (7) days notice that you cannot attend, we will arrange a credit towards a later class, less a $10.00 booking fee.

A requirement list will be given upon receipt of your deposit. Please name all your equipment before coming to class. If a class is cancelled, you will be given notice and your deposit refunded.
Sorry, but we do not have facilities for children, as it is unfair to other students and the tutor.
